Celebrate Friday night with us!

1. Lighted Boat Parade around Lake Orion This year boats compete for $400 in prizes. Gather at dusk near Pelton's Point for the tour around Lake Orion following a huge fire breathing dragon. Watch from the Lake or at Pelton's Point off M-24 in Lake Orion. Read more here.    
 2. Charity Casino Black Jack, Roulette, Texas Hold 'em. Just some of the games at the Charity Casino near the Dragon Pub on Friday night. Organized by the Lake Orion Knights of Columbus, proceeds help benefit K of C efforts including special needs. Friday night 7-11:30pm at the Dragon Pub near Front and Anderson downtown Lake Orion. DRAGON PUB OPEN UNTIL 11:30 PM  
3. OXLO 5K Run A unique evening run/walk through historic Lake Orion.  The OXLO 5K benefits Help Kids Succeed providing school supplies, eyeglasses, and medicine to students in need. Organized by the Lake Orion United Methodist Church and sponsored by Crittenton Hospital. 7pm Friday night. Find out more by clicking here.  

Welcome Dragon Boats Racers!

We're looking forward to seeing you at Dragon on the Lake 2014. If you're a returning team you know the rush of racing. If you're new to the sport, there are lots of reasons to get involved. Think about joining 20 of your besties, your coworkers, or get creative and race for a cause. Dragon Boat Racing is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and it's easy to see why. Lakeside Living Art Show

We're excited to welcome Lakeside Living to Lake Orion for the second year. You'll find it downtown during the Dragon on the Lake family festival. Over 50 national and local artists showcase and sell their work on Saturday and Sunday, August 23-24. Lakeside Living has a relaxed feel. It's more casual for lake style living. Read more here.
